Can a learner driver be insured on more than one car?
Yes you can be insured on more than one car, but you'll need separate insurance policies for each car. If, for example, you want to be insured on both of your parents' cars, then you'll need to take out a separate learner driver policy for each car. This is because learner driver insurance is tied to the specific car it covers, and you will need to enter the registration plate when taking out a policy.
Having more than one policy allows you to get extra driving practise in different cars, which can help build your confidence and experience, although it does increase the cost. If you decide to go down this route, just make sure you have valid insurance in place.
Your cover will end as soon as you tell us you've passed your driving test, and any refund that’s owed to you will then be calculated and transferred back to you.
